‘Write a Best Seller..?’

I’m getting quite tired of posts and adverts about the ‘perfect way to write a book…the rules to write a successful book etc.’. To me, you just write what you enjoy. If others enjoy it, then great. If the book becomes successful, even better. But these things are outside of our control, as the Stoics, amongst others, have pointed out. I could never write to order, or in a genre that I had no personal interest in. Good luck to those that do, however. It’s just not me..
